About the Role:
In this dual-role position, your primary focus will be supporting our safety initiatives and overseeing the recruitment/hiring process within the organization. Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hostler/Yard Jockey to join our team at DTS. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations within our warehouse environment. The Warehouse Hostler will contribute to our mission of excellence by supporting the loading and unloading of freight and maintaining organization within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and maneuver trailers around the yard or on area streets as needed.
• Organize and position trailers at loading docks for loading or unloading.
• Inspect trailers for any damage and report them to management.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and availability.
• Communicate with warehouse and distribution center staff to coordinate trailer movements.
• Ensure the yard is kept clean and free from debris.
