Job Overview
Assist in coordinating daily operations and supporting DTSI personnel. Maintain existing customer relationships and assist with new account setup, growth planning, and goal tracking. Provide customer service by answering phones and responding to inquiries. Process pickup and delivery orders, enter bills of lading, and verify freight documentation and billing for accuracy.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Answer phones professionally, assist callers, and route calls as needed
• Coordinate daily activities with manager across intrastate and warehouse operations
• Take customer orders via phone/email, schedule pickups and deliveries, and dispatch drivers
• Set pickup and delivery appointments as needed
• Process and verify bills of lading and delivery receipts (signatures, weights, counts, accuracy)
• Rate and bill freight accurately
• Support drivers with directions, scheduling, and issue resolution
• Communicate with shippers and consignees regarding freight status and delivery attempts
• Assist with customer service issues, including lost/damaged freight; coordinate with Claims Manager
• Perform order entry, invoicing, document scanning, and general office support
• Track warehouse inventory, releases, and receipts

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities

About the Role
Diversified Transfer & Storage (DTS) is hiring an experienced Reefer Dispatcher Support person to join our Billings transportation team. This is a full-time in-office dispatch and logistics coordination role supporting our over-the-road operations. No CDL required.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating freight movement, optimizing transportation efficiency, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Emails carriers load confirmation.

• Manages loads from pick up to delivery. Fills out update forms for customers on status of loads. Completes follow-up responsibilities.
• Oversees completion of paperwork for billing and audits freight bills to ensure correct customer billing.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 - 4 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to properly direct and instruct in detailed manner as to make sure no misunderstandings regarding time frame in which all aspects of each task is completed.
