Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our Billings team! The ideal candidate will have a robust background in dispatching refrigerated trucks with a focus on pickup and delivery (P & D) and grocery warehouse operations. 3-5 years of experience in dispatching reefer trucks is required, with a strong background in P & D and grocery warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatching: Efficiently manage the scheduling and dispatching of reefer trucks for local and OTR pickups and deliveries.
- Collaboration: Communicate with and coordinate swaps and transfers between terminals in Aurora, CO, Billings, MT, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Route Management: Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize delays, and ensure adherence to temperature requirements.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and handle any changes in real time.
- Compliance: Ensure all dispatch operations comply with safety regulations and company standards, particularly regarding the handling of temperature-sensitive goods.
- Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any challenges related to delivery schedules, equipment issues, or route disruptions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, delivery statuses, and vehicle conditions. Prepare and review necessary reports.
- Analysis: Use KPI’s to measure performance and productivity
- Temperature Monitoring: Monitor temperature logs and equipment to ensure that all perishable goods are transported within the required temperature ranges.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with warehouse teams to streamline loading and unloading processes and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Relationship Building: Build, maintain, and expand stakeholder relationships in the area.

Pay: $48,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
